Jaguar Mining Updates Mineral Reserves and Resources
Jaguar Mining Inc. reports a significant increase of 63% in its Proven and Probable Mineral Reserves for 2024, reaching 764 koz net of depletion. The Onças de Pitangui project contributed with its first reserves of 284 koz.
Measured and Indicated Resources slightly decreased by 1% to 1,659 koz, while Inferred Mineral Resources rose to 1,676 koz, showcasing growth potential. The Faina zone saw a 16% rise in 2P Reserves, now at 160 koz. Life of Mine plans ensure production in Pilar for five years starting 2025, with MTL complex extending beyond 2030.
Following an incident at MTL affecting operations at Turmalina mine, efforts focus on resuming activities to bolster production. The update strengthens Jaguar's organic growth strategy, allowing new mining areas to increase overall output.
