JCDecaux Secures Exclusive Advertising Contract in Rostock
JCDecaux SE, the leading global outdoor advertising firm, has announced that its subsidiary, Wall GmbH, won the exclusive contract for analogue and digital advertising street furniture in Rostock. Awarded after a tender process, Wall will be tasked with renovating existing bus shelters and digitising key city locations.
Rostock, the largest city in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany, with a population of 175,000, is a significant economic and scientific center. It also hosts Warnemünde, a notable tourist destination.
Jean-François Decaux expressed gratitude to Rostock for extending their 35-year-old partnership. The decision to refurbish existing infrastructure highlights JCDecaux's commitment to reducing CO2 emissions, aligning with its Net Zero target by 2050.
