Kapsch TrafficCom Reports 2024/25 Financial Year Results

Vienna-based Kapsch TrafficCom released its financial results for the 2024/25 fiscal year, citing a slight improvement in business development. However, deconsolidations of several entities led to reduced revenues of EUR 530 million and an EBIT of EUR 13 million.

The company experienced a notable equity ratio rise to 20% and a decrease in gearing ratio to 111%. Despite the setback in revenue and EBIT, improved project efficiencies and liquidity were highlighted by CEO Georg Kapsch.

Regionally, EMEA and Asia-Pacific saw revenue declines, while the Americas experienced a 7% increase. The tolling segment showed resilience with a revenue increase, unlike the traffic management segment, which saw a decline.

Looking ahead, lower 2025/26 revenues are anticipated due to prior deconsolidations, but EBIT could see an uptick, thanks to potential positive one-time effects.
