Kennametal Introduces Global "Machinist of the Year" Program

Kennametal Inc., a leader in metal cutting solutions, has announced its new "Machinist of the Year" program. This annual initiative aims to honor long-time machinist customers worldwide. Celebrating skill, dedication, and innovation, winners will be selected from the Americas, EMEA, APAC, and India.

This program acknowledges the vital role machinists play in manufacturing. Eddie McBarnett, Vice President of Marketing & Strategy at Kennametal, emphasized the company's commitment to meeting the needs of these professionals. Scott Etling, Vice President of Product Marketing Management, highlighted the program as a celebration of industry partnerships.

Participants must post a video on social media detailing their use of Kennametal products. Regional winners will be announced at trade shows later in 2026 and will receive various prizes, including $7,500 in tools and the opportunity to showcase their skills at global events.
