KHD Humboldt Wedag Secures Major Project in India
KHD Humboldt Wedag International AG, based in Cologne, has secured a significant contract from Goldcrest Cement Private Limited in India. The deal was officially booked by Humboldt Wedag India Private Limited, the Indian subsidiary of KHD, on July 24, 2025. This contract involves an EP (Engineering and Procurement) agreement for a new cement plant with a production capacity of 10,000 tons per day.
The contract encompasses engineering services, equipment supply, supervision for erection and commissioning, and project management for the construction and installation. The total contract value exceeds €100 million. This project marks a substantial addition to KHD’s portfolio in the Indian market, reflecting the company's robust capabilities in executing large-scale projects.
