EcoGraf Limited Begins EIB-Funded Expansion
EcoGraf Limited has announced the commencement of activities under the European Investment Bank (EIB) Technical Assistance grant. The grant, valued at up to €2 million, supports independent technical, environmental, and social studies for the Epanko Graphite Project's phased development and EcoGraf’s graphite strategy.
Key workstreams will explore scalable development pathways, expanding natural flake graphite production, and integrating midstream and downstream facilities. These workstreams will provide essential inputs for future project development and financial decisions.
The technical assistance aligns with the EU’s Critical Raw Materials Act, focusing on market studies, waste management, and implementation roadmaps. Notably, specialist consultants are engaged to ensure compliance with international standards.
This funding complements EcoGraf's recent Share Purchase Plan, enhancing its vertical integration strategy across global battery manufacturing hubs.
