EcoGraf Limited Receives Positive Feedback from U.S. Department of Defense

EcoGraf Limited has received encouraging feedback from the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) for its white paper submission. The document proposes the establishment of an EcoGraf HFfree® Purification Facility in the U.S., with potential funding up to US$76.3 million. This facility aims to produce 20,000 to 25,000 tons of graphite annually, utilizing EcoGraf’s patented purification technology.

This submission, part of the Defense Production Act Title III, underscores EcoGraf's strategy to supply high-purity graphite for the U.S. market. Positive feedback indicates that the proposal meets DoD requirements, making it eligible for funding consideration over the next 36 months, depending on funding availability.

EcoGraf plans to source natural graphite from Tanzania’s Epanko Project, initially processing it into spherical graphite before transfer to the U.S. facility. The proposal received support from a major U.S. battery manufacturer, aligning with the U.S. President's Executive Order to enhance domestic production of critical minerals.
