Kimberly-Clark Initiates Global Partnerships to Support Women's Health
Kimberly-Clark Corporation has launched strategic partnerships with Baby2Baby, Plan International, Project HOPE, and UNICEF to enhance essential care for women and girls in Brazil, Peru, China, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the U.S. Over the next three years, these partnerships aim to benefit 24 million women and girls. The company commits $28.7 million to this initiative, largely focusing on menstrual and maternal care.
Women's health poses a significant global challenge. The World Bank states that 500 million females lack adequate menstrual resources. To address this, Kimberly-Clark intends to implement educational programs and improve access to hygiene products.
Kimberly-Clark's efforts align with a broader objective to impact societal well-being positively. This approach ensures resources for childbirth, maternal mental health, and menstrual health, promoting sustainable, systemic change within underserved communities.
