Kingfisher Metals Identifies New Porphyry Target in Golden Triangle
Kingfisher Metals Corp. has announced a new porphyry drill target within its HWY 37 Project in the Golden Triangle, British Columbia. This target, located at the Turquoise target area, is characterized by a significant chargeability anomaly measuring 0.5 by 2.0 km. Geophysical data highlight a potential subsurface mineral richness in copper and gold.
The Turquoise target is near-surface and ready for drilling, benefiting from close proximity to existing infrastructure. This discovery is a result of Kingfisher's systematic exploration in the emerging Hank-Mary district. Nearby surface geology reveals advanced argillic mineralogy, with high pyrite abundance further supporting the prospect of significant mineral deposits.
Kingfisher CEO Dustin Perry emphasized the importance of this finding for ongoing exploration, as they aim to expand their high-quality target pipeline in this underexplored region. Drill testing of the target area is planned for this summer.
