KPS Capital Partners Acquires Controlling Stake in Novacel
KPS Capital Partners, LP has announced an agreement to acquire a controlling interest in Chargeurs Films de Protection SAS, also known as Novacel, from Compagnie Chargeurs Invest SA. Chargeurs will maintain a 25% ownership in the company. Financial details remain undisclosed, and the transaction is expected to conclude in the second quarter of 2026, pending customary conditions and approvals.
Novacel, based in Deville, France, is a global leader in surface protection solutions. The company serves various markets including building exteriors, industrial, and transportation. It operates six manufacturing facilities and three R&D centers across France, Italy, and the United States.
Executive leaders emphasize the strategic benefits of this acquisition. Pierre de Villeméjane of KPS praised Novacel's product diversity and strategic market position. Philippe Denoix, CEO of Novacel, anticipates enhanced technical leadership and innovation under KPS ownership. The partnership aims to foster growth and strengthen client relationships.
