Municipality Finance Issues USD 50 Million Tranche
Municipality Finance Plc (MuniFin) has issued a USD 50 million tranche under its Medium Term Note (MTN) programme. Scheduled for release on October 30, 2026, this new tranche adds to an existing series initiated on June 3, 2026. With this addition, the total nominal amount reaches USD 300 million. These notes are set to mature on September 3, 2031, featuring a floating interest rate tied to Compounded SOFR plus 100 basis points annually.
The issuance falls under MuniFin’s extensive EUR 55 billion programme for debt instruments. Public trading on the Helsinki Stock Exchange, operated by Nasdaq Helsinki, is anticipated to start on the issue date. The deal is managed by RBC Europe Limited, acting as the Dealer.
MuniFin, among Finland’s largest credit institutions, serves various municipal customers and is renowned for its global issuance activities, including the country's pioneering green and social bonds.
