Municipality Finance Launches EUR 25 Million Notes
On 5 October 2026, Municipality Finance Plc (MuniFin) will issue EUR 25 million notes with an interest rate of 4.185% per annum, maturing on 2 January 2035. MuniFin retains the option to redeem these notes early on 2 January 2030. This issuance is part of MuniFin's EUR 55 billion Medium Term Note (MTN) programme, designed for debt instrument issuance.
The notes are expected to begin trading on the Helsinki Stock Exchange through Nasdaq Helsinki on the issue date, 5 October 2026. Société Générale is acting as the dealer for this issuance. MuniFin remains a significant Finnish credit institution, with a balance sheet exceeding EUR 57 billion.
Its clientele includes municipalities and social entities, focusing on sustainable investments. These notes contribute to MuniFin's global presence as a Finnish bond issuer.
