The Blockchain Group issues €63.3 million in convertible bonds
On May 26, 2025, The Blockchain Group, through its Luxembourg subsidiary, announced the issuance of Bitcoin-denominated convertible bonds for a total amount of €63.3 million. Moonlight Capital subscribed for €5 million, at a price of €3.809 per share, while Fulgur Ventures and UTXO Management subscribed for €55.3 million and €3 million, respectively, at a price of ~€0.707.
This initiative is part of the company's Bitcoin accumulation strategy, which could potentially acquire 590 BTC, bringing the total number to approximately 1,437 BTC. Adam Back has converted all of its Tranche 1 bonds into 14,885,957 ordinary shares at a price of €0.544 per share. The offering does not require an AMF prospectus.
