The Blockchain Group raises €9.7 million for its Bitcoin strategy
The Blockchain Group announced the issuance of shares and convertible bonds totaling €9.7 million. These transactions are part of their Bitcoin Treasury Company strategy. The group's Luxembourg subsidiary oversaw the issuance. TOBAM subscribed for €6 million in convertible bonds at a price of €6.24 per share. Ludovic Chechin-Laurans invested €2.4 million denominated in BTC, convertible at approximately €0.7072 per share.
Adam Back converted his bonds into 14,885,957 additional shares. TOBAM also converted its bonds into 1,838,235 shares. These initiatives aim to strengthen the company's position in Bitcoin, with a potential holding of 1,611 BTC. The resulting shares will be listed on Euronext Growth Paris.
