The Blockchain Group: Strategic Acquisition of 227 BTC
The Blockchain Group announces the acquisition of 227 bitcoins (BTC) for approximately €21.2 million, bringing its total holdings to 847 BTC. This acquisition is part of a strategy to strengthen its portfolio, with a BTC yield of 861.0% since the beginning of the year.
The capital increase finalized on May 9, 2025, for €9.6 million, enabled the acquisition of 90 BTC. In addition, the convertible bond issue of May 12, 2025, for €12.1 million, contributed to the acquisition of 123 BTC. Finally, a reserved bond issue by its Luxembourg subsidiary secured an additional 14 BTC.
The Blockchain Group, listed on Euronext Growth Paris, is continuing its Bitcoin Treasury strategy in Europe, now reaching a total acquisition value of €71.7 million at an average cost of €84,706 per bitcoin.
