Leifheit Adjusts 2025 Financial Forecast Amid Production Restructuring
Leifheit Aktiengesellschaft has revised its financial forecast for 2025 due to strategic changes in its production structure. The company now anticipates slightly lower turnover compared to 2024, diverging from an earlier growth estimate of 2-4%. This shift results from a strategic project aimed at enhancing production efficiency.
The Board of Management has decided to consolidate injection moulding production by moving operations from Nassau to Blatná, Czech Republic. This site already handles over 80% of output, aiming to centralize expertise and achieve efficiency gains worth approximately EUR 2 million annually.
Relocation incurs one-time costs of about EUR 3 million affecting earnings particularly in the second quarter of 2025. Consequently, EBIT is projected to remain around 2024 levels, contrary to initial forecasts of up to EUR 17 million.
