Leonteq AG Announces Key Board Nominations Ahead of EGM 2026

Leonteq AG has revealed significant changes to its Board of Directors ahead of the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on 21 September 2026. Andreas Casutt is set to become the new Chairman, succeeding Christopher Chambers. Reto Suter will join as a board member, and Philippe Le Baquer is poised to take over as Vice-Chairman. These appointments are pending regulatory approval.

Andreas Casutt brings vast legal and board experience, having served at Niederer Kraft Frey AG and been Chairman of Siegfried Holding AG. Reto Suter offers leadership skills from roles in various sectors, including his tenure as CFO at Siegfried Holding AG.

Leonteq's Board faces shareholder proposals, notably from Rainer-Marc Frey. One proposition is a share buyback program up to CHF 100 million, contingent on regulatory and financial conditions. A change to the Board's remuneration structure was also proposed, but the Board advises against it, maintaining 40% of compensation in shares.
