LION E-Mobility AG Reports Strong Growth in 2025
LION E-Mobility AG, a key player in battery packs for electric mobility, witnessed robust growth in 2025. The company announced a 68% rise in revenue, reaching EUR 28.3 million. EBITDA improved significantly to EUR 7.5 million, reflecting a 26.4% margin. This recovery was largely due to increased battery demand, primarily from bus manufacturers. Additionally, net profit jumped from EUR -6.6 million to EUR 3.0 million.
In the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) segment, LION expanded its pipeline, strengthening its team in response to growing market demand. The NMC+ battery packs were successfully delivered and are operating in customer fleets. For 2026, LION forecasts further growth, with revenue projected above EUR 35 million, despite a planned temporary factory shutdown.
The demand in the BESS and defense sectors continue to offer growth opportunities, reflected by recent collaborations such as with Mandrill Engineering. LION remains focused on using its high-performance technology to power advanced systems.
