Logic Instrument innovates for the automotive industry with UWB technology
On December 22, 2025, in Igny, Logic Instrument announced the successful completion of a significant technology integration for a German automotive manufacturer in Stuttgart. In collaboration with Ubisense, the company integrated Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology into the Durabook U11I tablet, providing a real-time location solution for production lines.
The challenge was to overcome the limitations of traditional monitoring methods in dense industrial environments. Leveraging its expertise, Logic Instrument integrated the Ubisense Dimension4 UWB module into the tablet, eliminating the need for external equipment.
This robust innovation, certified to MIL-STD-810H and IP66 standards, improves accuracy and reduces bottlenecks. It has already generated €2 million in revenue, with orders totaling €1 million for 2026.
