Loop Industries Names Spencer Hart as New CFO
Loop Industries, a company focused on promoting a circular plastics economy, has appointed Spencer Hart as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective January 15, 2026. Hart, a member of Loop's Board since February 2025, will lead the company's global financial strategies and capital market engagements.
With over 30 years in investment banking, Hart most recently held a senior role at Guggenheim Securities. His expertise will support Loop's ambition to expand its technology and market presence globally. He will continue as a Board member while taking on his new executive role.
Interim CFO Mike De Notaris will revert to his former role as Vice President of Corporate Development, reporting to Hart. This transition underscores Loop's strategic alignment efforts, aligning leadership with long-term shareholder interests as highlighted by CEO Daniel Solomita.
