MACOMPTA.FR Faces New Appeal in IP Box Tax Litigation

On August 19, 2026, French software publisher MACOMPTA.FR issued a correction regarding its press release on the IP Box tax litigation. Initially, the company announced a favorable ruling on March 17, 2026, from the Administrative Court of Poitiers. This decision granted tax relief linked to the IP Box regime, impacting financial results for the years ending June 2020 and June 2021.

The favorable outcome resulted in a reimbursement of €150,000, including interest and legal costs. However, on August 10, 2026, MACOMPTA.FR received notice of an appeal by French tax authorities to the Bordeaux Administrative Court of Appeal. The appeal aims to overturn the original judgment and reapply the previous tax assessments. MACOMPTA.FR intends to continue defending its stance in court.
