Marie Brizard Wine & Spirits Reports Q1 2026 Revenues
Marie Brizard Wine & Spirits (MBWS) announced its Q1 2026 revenues, showing a 9.6% decline to €38.7 million compared to the same period in 2025. The decrease is attributed to a continued slowdown in the spirits market, particularly in France.
In France, sales dropped 3.6% due to off-trade challenges, primarily affecting the William Peel brand. However, the on-trade sector saw a 5.5% increase. A new industrial services contract contributed positively.
Internationally, revenue decreased by 13.8%, with significant declines in Spain, Lithuania, and Bulgaria due to production issues. In contrast, the U.S. market experienced a temporary boost thanks to the Sobieski brand.
MBWS maintains an unchanged outlook, focusing on strategic brand development and new market opportunities for sustainable growth.
