Medicure Finalizes Acquisition of West Olympia Pharmacy

Medicure Inc., a company focused on U.S. pharmaceuticals and healthcare products, has closed its purchase of West Olympia Pharmacy Inc. through its subsidiary, Medicure Pharma Inc. This acquisition aligns with Medicure's strategy to expand its direct-to-consumer pharmacy offerings.

The acquisition is expected to enhance Medicure's growth prospects and the sales of key products ZYPITAMAG® and BRENZAVVY®. The addition of Gateway Medical Pharmacy and West Olympia could increase annual net revenue by approximately $10 million.

Notably, Medicure did not require financing or acquire debt for this transaction. West Olympia Pharmacy, located in Washington, is strategically positioned in a medical complex, offering proximity to numerous clinics.
