Medios AG, a leader in Europe's Specialty Pharma sector, is undergoing a strategic transition as its founding team leaves. Matthias Gärtner, the current CEO, will step down by December 31, 2025, passing the reins after an impactful decade. His tenure was marked by significant growth and the company's rise to prominence in Germany and across Europe. Gärtner spearheaded Medios' founding in 2015 and its successful IPO in 2016.
Chief Operating Officer Mi-Young Miehler will also exit, concluding an 8-year tenure that focused on the Pharmaceutical Supply segment and expanding the company's network. The transition aims to simplify management by redistributing responsibilities.
The Supervisory Board is in search of a CEO successor, aiming to balance growth with profitability and shareholder value. Current board members will continue in their roles, with adjustments to maintain streamlined operations.
