Mensch und Maschine Software SE Reports Strong H1 2025 Performance
Wessling, July 23, 2025 – Mensch und Maschine Software SE (MUM) reported its second strongest first half-year earnings, largely attributed to the new Autodesk model increasing their EBIT margin from 15.9% to 22.1%. The impact of system transition issues is lessening, supporting confidence in meeting targets for 2025/26.
Despite a 31% decrease in sales, amounting to EUR 120.87 million, the company achieved a gross profit close to last year’s level at EUR 93.32 million. The transition improved gross margins significantly within the Digitization and Group segments.
Operating profit declined slightly by 4.4%, reaching EUR 26.76 million, while net profit was down 6.6% to EUR 17.50 million. Operating cash flow decreased as anticipated due to the Autodesk shift, with expectations for recovery by the end of 2026.
M+M leadership reaffirms growth targets, predicting moderate increases in earnings and dividends for 2025, with stronger growth anticipated for 2026. The report highlights the BIM-compatible design capabilities of M+M’s CAE software.
