Terra Innovatum and Mersen Collaborate on Graphite Prototype for Nuclear Reactor

Terra Innovatum and Mersen have announced a significant milestone in their ongoing partnership aimed at advancing nuclear technology. The two companies have successfully produced a graphite reactor core prototype. This marks an essential step toward the manufacturing readiness of the SOLO™ Micro-Reactor, a first-of-a-kind (FOAK) deployment scheduled for 2027, with commercialization in 2028.

This development builds on a prior agreement securing nuclear-grade graphite necessary for the project. Mersen's expertise in producing nuclear-grade materials was crucial in this achievement. This prototype validates the ability to integrate reactor systems, ensuring their scalability and readiness for repeated production.
