MICROIP Secures US$20 Million Contract for AI Smart Community in Taiwan

MICROIP has secured a significant US$20 million contract for a smart residential development in Taiwan. The 36-month project will begin in October 2026 and highlights MICROIP's expansion into Edge AI system integration. The company will manage the project and integrate its Edge AI technologies, enhancing security, energy efficiency, and privacy in the community.

By using on-site real-time computing, MICROIP reduces cloud latency and bandwidth needs, while safeguarding residents' data. The system will offer AI vision recognition, energy management, and AIoT networking for intelligent building management. Revenue will be recognized progressively following IFRS 15, ensuring financial transparency.

The project's impact is poised for further growth in smart buildings and other sectors globally.
