MicroVision Appoints Glen DeVos as New CEO

MicroVision, Inc. has announced the appointment of Glen W. DeVos as Chief Executive Officer, effective September 30, 2025. DeVos, who joined the company as Chief Technology Officer in April, is set to replace Sumit Sharma. Sharma will stay on until the transition is complete.

DeVos brings over 30 years of experience in automotive and industrial technology. He previously held key positions at Aptiv and Delphi Automotive. DeVos' expertise in strategy, global leadership, and technology development is expected to drive MicroVision's growth. His recent contributions as CTO have significantly advanced the company's engineering and operations teams.

Bob Carlile, Chair of the Board, highlighted the timing of the leadership change as MicroVision focuses on targeted industries. DeVos expressed enthusiasm for his new role, confident in the company's ability to offer innovative solutions in autonomy and mobility.
