Mobilezone Reduces CO₂ Emissions Through Refurbished Devices

In 2025, Mobilezone achieved a significant reduction in CO₂ emissions by saving approximately 900 tonnes of CO₂ equivalents through its Second Life business, specializing in refurbished smartphones under the jusit brand. This accomplishment highlights the effectiveness of Mobilezone's sustainability efforts and supports the circular economy.

The savings were equated to approximately 187 car trips around the Earth, according to calculations conducted with partner ConClimate. The entire refurbishing process occurs in Switzerland, ensuring a comprehensive circular process from buyback to resale.

Demand for jusit devices is growing, driven by the benefits of extending device lifespans and reducing the need for new production. This circular model also supports several UN Sustainable Development Goals, such as industry innovation and responsible consumption.
