MPC Capital Reports 17% EBT Growth in Q1 2026
In the first quarter of 2026, MPC Capital AG reported a 17% increase in earnings before taxes (EBT) amounting to EUR 8.3 million, compared to EUR 7.1 million in the same quarter of the previous year. This growth, despite a slight decline in revenue to EUR 10.6 million from EUR 11.8 million, was primarily supported by a strong co-investment portfolio performance.
The company's revenue drop was mainly due to currency effects, particularly the weaker US dollar impacting the maritime services segment. Nevertheless, management fees remained solid, while transaction fees are expected to recover throughout the year. The firm holds a robust balance sheet with an equity ratio of 90% and cash reserves of EUR 40.9 million.
Looking ahead, MPC Capital confirms its full-year outlook, projecting revenue between EUR 45 million and EUR 50 million, alongside EBT in the range of EUR 25 million to EUR 30 million.
