Mutares Acquires VR Road Logistics from VR Group

Mutares SE & Co. KGaA has announced the acquisition of VR Road Logistics from the state-owned VR Group. This move enhances Mutares' presence in Finland, complementing previous acquisitions like Palmia and Redo. The acquisition serves as a new platform investment in the Goods & Services segment.

VR Road Logistics is a major player in road logistics, providing full truck load freight services primarily for industrial sectors such as forestry, metals, construction, and mining. The company generated approximately EUR 80 million in revenue in 2023.

This acquisition aims to reinforce Mutares' portfolio in Finland, focusing on industrial customers with a wide service range including supply chain logistics and warehousing.
