Mutares Sells Fuentes Quality Logistics to Ontime Consortium

Mutares SE & Co. KGaA has announced the sale of Fuentes Quality Logistics S.L., a service company specializing in temperature-controlled logistics, to a consortium led by the Ontime franchise and the founding family. With revenues around EUR 200 million, Fuentes has undergone significant improvements since its acquisition from the Lineage Group, aimed at restoring profitability and enhancing its operations.

The Ontime franchise views this transaction as a strategic move to strengthen its foothold in the Iberian and European logistics market. The acquisition is expected to leverage Fuentes' capabilities and promote further growth. Johannes Laumann, CIO of Mutares, highlighted the sale as evidence of Mutares' capability to identify and enhance companies with solid market positions.
