Nano One Expands Capacity with Proprietary Agitator and Adds New Patents

Nano One Materials Corp. has enhanced its Candiac Operations by installing new proprietary agitator equipment in its One-Pot™ reactor. This upgrade is expected to increase throughput capacity by approximately 50%, reducing production costs and optimizing plant operations for future licensing. The improvements stem from extensive testing and are aimed at supporting the company's product commercialization and cost performance initiatives.

Additionally, Nano One has expanded its intellectual property portfolio by adding five new patents in the fields of LFP, NMC, and LNMO cathodes across North America and Asia. These patents bolster the company’s independence from foreign IP control and enhance its technological edge in the battery materials market.

The agitator, sourced from a German manufacturer, further strengthens Nano One's supply chain amid geopolitical challenges. The project receives support from various governmental programs, highlighting Nano One’s commitment to innovation in lithium-ion battery technology.
