These tools, now accessible in over 70 languages, aim to help healthcare providers identify and manage various distress factors faced by cancer patients. Initially validated across multiple cultures, these tools are designed to detect emotional, physical, social, and spiritual issues, streamlining the support process for those affected by cancer.

The release coincides with Mental Health Awareness Month, highlighting the importance of comprehensive cancer care. CEO Crystal S. Denlinger emphasized the necessity of addressing not only physical symptoms but also the broader psychological and practical challenges that accompany cancer.

In 2025, the resource was extensively utilized worldwide, with high download rates in countries like Germany and Brazil. Ongoing research, such as a study validating the tool in Armenian, underscores its effectiveness in diverse settings, further integrating psychological care within cancer treatment protocols.
