Neakasa's Riko Wins IFA 2026 Innovation Award

At IFA 2026 in Berlin, Neakasa's Riko smart wet-meal feeder was honored with the IFA 2026 Innovation Award, acknowledging its novel automated feeding solution for cats. Riko stands out by storing freeze-dried food and mixing it with water upon demand, as opposed to traditional automatic feeders that store prepared wet food. This innovation ensures freshly prepared wet meals tailored to specific portions and hydration levels.

Riko offers versatility with adjustable water-to-food ratios from 1:1 to 5:1 and can manage over 20 meals daily. A 3L food bin and 2.4L water tank support feeding schedules for up to 10 days for a 12-pound cat. The Neakasa app further enhances convenience, letting users manage feedings via smartphones.

Also showcased was the M9 Self-Cleaning Cat Litter Box, praised for its safety and odor management features. Neakasa plans an October 9, 2026, launch for M9. Both innovations underline Neakasa's commitment to smart pet care.
