Netgem chosen by Vodafone for its PLEIO entertainment platform

Netgem, a specialist in Content-as-a-Service, has had its PLEIO platform selected by Vodafone for the launch of a new television and entertainment service in the UK. This integrated offering includes live TV via Freely, streaming content, an on-demand video library, and cloud gaming. All of this is centralized in a single product, managed by Netgem under a multi-year agreement.

This service offers over 150 channels in addition to the national programming of major British networks. All of this is unified by an AI-powered recommendation engine, which simplifies content exploration. Accessible via Android TV and a mobile app, it is available to Vodafone customers with a fixed or mobile internet subscription.
