The company completed well RT-RG26-PW001, though faced challenges that limited its depth to 140 meters instead of the planned 400 meters. Despite these challenges, the upper aquifer showed a transmissivity of 95 m²/day and hydraulic efficiency of 93% at 15 L/s, consistent with the project’s economic assessment assumptions.
The company's CEO, Gabriel Rubacha, expressed optimism about the well's performance and potential high lithium concentrations identified in nearby deeper horizons. Future assessments will focus on deeper aquifer intervals, requiring further drilling with deeper completion and larger pumps. Laboratory results on brine samples from the current well are expected soon, providing further clarity on the potential of this area.
