Nordex Group Secures 112 MW Wind Turbine Order in Brazil
The Nordex Group has announced a significant order from Auren Energia in Brazil for the supply and installation of 19 N163/5.X wind turbines. The order, amounting to 112 MW, includes a service agreement lasting initially fifteen years with options to extend up to 30 years.
The turbines will be installed in the Cajuína 3 wind farm, part of the Cajuína Wind Complex in Rio Grande do Norte. Installation is scheduled to commence at the beginning of 2026, with commissioning anticipated in autumn 2026. This development follows Nordex's previous delivery of 120 turbines for the Cajuína 1 and 2 wind farms, totaling 684 MW.
This move underscores the growing collaboration between Nordex and Auren Energia, Brazil's third largest energy producer specializing in renewable energy solutions. Auren aims to support the transition to a low-carbon economy.
