Nordex Group Secures 220 MW in New European Wind Contracts
In January 2026, Nordex Group announced new orders totaling 220 MW from several European countries. This reinforces the company's position as a key supplier of wind turbines in Europe. The UK order includes 14 N163/6.X turbines, adding over 90 MW, with completion planned for 2028.
In Türkiye, diverse turbine orders contribute 78 MW, featuring the debut of N175/6.X turbines. Lithuania will see a new wind farm with seven N175/6.X turbines, totaling 47.6 MW, fitted with Advanced Anti-Icing System, to be completed by 2028. All contracts ensure extended service and maintenance.
These developments expand Nordex's influence in Europe, supporting renewable energy growth through advanced onshore wind technology. Customer and wind farm names remain undisclosed.
