Nordex Group Secures 91 MW Wind Farm Order in Germany
The Nordex Group has received an order from project developer SAB WindTeam for 13 N163/6.X turbines, totaling 91 MW in capacity. This contract also includes a 20-year Premium Service agreement. The turbines, featuring a hub height of 164 meters, will be installed at the Fretzdorf site in Brandenburg, Germany.
Installation begins in Q3 2026, with full commissioning expected by spring 2027. Nordex's collaboration with SAB WindTeam highlights commitment to renewable energy in the region. The Director of Sales for Nordex, Felipe Villalon Waldburg-Zeil, emphasized the strategic nature of this project for sustainable energy expansion.
Lars Niebuhr, Managing Director of SAB WindTeam, expressed satisfaction with the partnership, underlining the suitability of these turbines for the forest site.
