Nordex Group Secures Order for Bredenbek Wind Farm in Germany
Hamburg, 27 October 2026. Nordex Group announced a new collaboration with DenkerWulf to supply nine N149/5.X wind turbines for the Bredenbek wind farm in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. The turbines will offer a combined capacity of 51.3 MW. Installation is set for autumn 2027 with commissioning beginning in December 2027. The agreement includes a 20-year Premium Service for the turbines.
The Bredenbek project marks another partnership between Nordex and DenkerWulf, following previous orders totaling over 122 MW for other projects in the same region. The new turbines will have a hub height of 105 metres and a capacity of 5.7 MW each.
This project aims to enhance energy sovereignty and reduce dependency on imported energy sources. The collaboration reflects a long-standing relationship between Nordex and DenkerWulf, with a focus on expanding wind energy in Germany.
