Nordex Group Secures Significant Wind Turbine Orders in Canada
Nordex Group has announced new wind turbine orders totaling 247 MW from Canada, pushing its 2024 North American sales past 1 GW. The orders consist of 36 N163/6.X turbines to be delivered in Nova Scotia by spring 2026.
The wind turbines, part of the Delta4000 series, will feature cold climate variants and an advanced anti-icing system to ensure optimal performance during harsh winters. This development marks a 350% increase in Nordex's North American order intake from the previous year, reflecting strong market presence.
With manufacturing ramping up at the Iowa facility in 2025, Nordex Group's growth trajectory appears sustainable. However, specific customer and wind farm details remain undisclosed.
