Nordex Secures 21 MW Wind Order from BMR Energy Solutions
Nordex Group has announced a new order from BMR energy solutions GmbH for the supply and installation of wind turbines in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The project, named “Heinsberg-Boverath” wind farm, will feature three N163/6.X turbines with a total capacity of 21 MW. This order includes a 20-year premium service contract for the turbines.
BMR energy solutions has been a significant client for Nordex in 2025, with additional orders summing up to 88.8 MW across various projects in Germany. These include installations in Bedburg, Wanlo, Geilenkirchen, and Willich, as well as Heinsberg-Boverath. The turbines are planned to be operational by 2026 and 2027.
The Rhenish mining district, where some of these installations will occur, is experiencing a shift towards ecological transformation due to the anticipated phase-out of coal power.
