Nordex Secures 224 MW Orders from UKA for German Wind Projects
Hamburg, 6 January 2026. Nordex Group has announced receipt of orders from UKA for 33 wind turbines, totaling 224.4 MW, to be installed across Germany. The orders, part of an ongoing framework agreement, feature N175/6.X turbines with a premium 20-year maintenance service. These turbines are set for installation in regions including Brandenburg, Thuringia, and North Rhine-Westphalia, beginning in 2027.
The turbines will be mounted on hybrid towers, standing at 179 meters. UKA's Managing Partner highlighted the challenging market conditions but expressed optimism about the project's profitability. This collaboration strengthens the partnership between Nordex and UKA, emphasizing the reliability of Nordex's wind turbine technology.
