The Nordex Group Secures 120 MW Order in Türkiye
Hamburg, 2 April 2026. The Nordex Group has received a new order from Türkiye for the supply and installation of wind turbines. The contract includes 18 N175/6.X turbines for the R25-Balıkesir-2 wind farm, totaling 120 MW in capacity. Scheduled installations begin in March 2027, with commissioning by August 2027.
This project, commissioned by Balıkesir Elektrik Yenilenebilir Enerji Üretim ve Satış A.Ş., a subsidiary of Efor Holding, marks the third collaboration with Nordex. It aligns with Türkiye's YEKA framework, emphasizing local manufacturing and contributing to domestic development.
Efor Holding Chairman İbrahim Akkuş highlighted that the project strengthens their energy portfolio and supports Türkiye’s green transition. Nordex's Vice President, Ender Ozatay, noted their continued partnership, underscoring the project's contribution to sustainable energy goals.
