Northern Dynasty Explores Settlement with EPA

Northern Dynasty Minerals Ltd. and its subsidiary, Pebble Limited Partnership, are negotiating with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for a potential settlement. A recent EPA court filing revealed ongoing discussions aimed at resolving the veto issue around the Pebble Project.

The negotiations involve a possible further submission from Pebble Limited Partnership to aid the EPA's reconsideration of its decision. Both parties expect an agreement on the submission specifics within two weeks.

Ron Thiessen, CEO of Northern Dynasty, stated that these discussions could expedite the veto's withdrawal, ensuring a domestic supply of essential metals and offering economic benefits to Alaska and the U.S.
