NRJ Group: Promise to sell Chérie 25 to CMA Media
On May 9, 2025, NRJ Group announced that it had signed a unilateral promise to purchase with CMA Media for the possible sale of its Chérie 25 channel. This includes the companies Chérie HD and STL.
The completion of this sale will depend on consultation with the Social and Economic Committee of the UES Boileau group. Authorization from Arcom is also required to finalize the transaction.
This strategic move could reshape the French audiovisual landscape by influencing NRJ Group's market position. CMA Media could thus strengthen its presence in the television sector.
