NuRAN Wireless Resumes Network Activities in Africa
On December 22, 2025, NuRAN Wireless Inc., a provider of mobile and broadband wireless solutions, announced updates on its operations in Ghana and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). In Ghana, the company successfully restored seven sites, ensuring the continuity and reliability of mobile services.
In the DRC, NuRAN resumed site relocation activities. One site has been relocated and integrated into the network with more relocations planned. This effort is part of a broader initiative including the deployment of 50 new sites in the region.
The expanded network aims to enhance connectivity for rural and remote areas, supported by the final drawdown of USD 450,000 from the Cygnum agreement. NuRAN continues to meet the increasing demand for wireless coverage across Africa.
