O'KEY Group Reports Modest Q1 2025 Revenue Growth

O'KEY Group S.A., a major Russian food retailer, reported a 2.6% year-on-year increase in net retail revenue for Q1 2025, reaching RUB 53.6 billion. Adjusted for a leap year, the increase stood at 3.6%. This growth was primarily driven by the DA! discounter chain's performance. The DA! discounters' revenue surged by 10.1% year-on-year, or 11.2% excluding the leap year effect, due to increased selling space and positive dynamics in both average ticket and customer traffic.

In contrast, O'KEY hypermarkets experienced a 0.9% year-on-year decline in net retail revenue, standing almost flat with a slight 0.1% increase without the leap year effect. Overall, DA! discounters now account for 34.4% of the Group’s total revenue, marking a 2.3 percentage point increase from the previous year. O'KEY Group now operates 300 stores across Russia, maintaining its position as a leading grocery retailer in the region.
