Financial developments of Olympique Lyonnais
On January 24, 2025, Eagle Football Group announced major financial developments for Olympique Lyonnais, including a cash injection of €83 million by Eagle Football Holdings. This injection, made between the fourth quarter of 2024 and January 2025, comes in particular from contributions from John Textor and YMK.
Player movements also played a key role, with transfers of Jefferson dos Santos to Botafogo, Gift Orban to Hoffenheim and Luiz Henrique to Zenit St Petersburg generating €62.3m. Player loans were also made, saving around €5m on personnel costs.
Credit ratings by DBRS Ratings and KBRA were affirmed, remaining stable at BBB and BBB+.
